概要
最近,5G通信的普及和Wi-Fi®的高速化、車載部件的電裝化等,通信終端的多功能化導致電子設備的安裝密度不斷提高。 另外,由于安裝區域的空間有限,搭載部件的尺寸正在向小型化發展。
其中,京瓷通過出色的光刻加工和與大阪大學共同開發的超高精度加工技術(等離子體CVM技術),成功量產化了“超小型石英晶振CX1008SB系列”。

小型化中的問題和解決方案:
從以往尺寸的1.2×1.0mm向1.0×0.8mm小型化時,串聯電阻值( CI值)會提高30%左右。 為了避免這種情況,有必要重新審視搭載晶體振子的基板的電路設計。
于是,京瓷擁有的壓電分析技術用石英元件的優化設計通過進行,稱為1.0×0.8mm尺寸實現小型化與此同時,1.2×1.0mm尺寸※1實現與同等的電氣特性做了。 由此,無需變更基板的電路就可以使用。

小型高精度石英元件的制造技術
等離子體CVM加工
什么是CVM?化學汽化加工法的簡稱。在以往的加工精度下,在將石英元件小型化時,存在電氣特性的偏差變大的問題。
解決該課題的是京瓷與大阪大學共同開發的超高精度加工技術(等離子體CVM技術:詳情請參閱)。
該技術是利用等離子體中的中性自由基和加工物表面的化學反應的加工方法,可以高精度地控制水晶的厚度和表面狀態等。 由此,、成功降低了頻率偏差做了。
實現超小型石英振子的超精密等離子加工技術(等離子CVM技術※1)是大阪大學和京瓷共同開發的,利用等離子體中的中性自由基和加工物表面的化學反應的加工方法,作為不會在表面引入損傷的情況下,能夠以納米級精度使水晶晶片的厚度分布均勻化的技術。 由此,成功制造了降低了頻率偏差的高性能石英晶片,實現了超小型石英振子的批量生產。 本技術開發也有助于智能手機和可穿戴終端的進一步普及、擴大,以及助聽器、醫療膠囊等的小型化。 本公司以本技術為基礎,進一步加快車載低頻帶振子、通信基站高頻帶振子、高精度振蕩器等各種產品的開發,支持5G通信和先進駕駛輔助系統( ADAS )等IoT發展的社會。
